Why does this project “Spark Joy” in Your Home?
This project is going to “Spark Joy” in your home because when you do the KonMari Method your home is unburdened of unwanted things and they are discarded properly. KonMari is unique because it asks one simple question: “Does it Spark Joy?”.
What is KonMari?
The KonMari Method is the systematic way of tidying your home all in one go, category-by-category. Selecting what you keep and what you discard primarily on the basis of what gives you joy. It was developed by Japanese decluttering expert, Marie Kondo. You can learn her method through her best-selling book, “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up”.
How is the KonMari Method different from other organizing methods?
We tend to organize by rearranging by location and therefore forgetting about the other locations we need to declutter. KonMari is suggests subtracting from your possessions by category: 1. Clothes 2. Books 3. Papers 4. Komono (Miscellany) 5. Sentimental Items. KonMari promotes the practice of only keeping what gives you joy. This helps you discipline the amount of things you own. Do you own things, or do things own you?
Do I need the KonMari Decluttering Service?
If you or someone you know is not enjoying tidying their living space, it could be due to accumulation. KonMari Consultants guarantee to make the process an experience to look forward to, with excellent results.
May I back this project so the reward goes to a friend or loved one?
Yes, only for friends in Manila and with their consent. If you think your friend needs help organizing you may back on his behalf. Just say it in a nice way!

When will the rewards be performed?
By June 2017. We can schedule this on a convenient day for you.
How long is a tidying session?
1 session per category will be approximately 5 hours. 1 session per category can be divided into 1 day a week (ex. Books category is partially done in 2.5 hours on one Monday, then remaining 2.5 hours for books can be finished on the next Monday). This is helpful not to be too overwhelmed by tidying.
How much is a usual tidying session?
If you would like to to avail of Claudemari Decluttering after this project is fulfilled, the usual rate is Php8,000 for 5 hours of tidying.
Will I be involved in the tidying?
Yes, definitely, the owner of the items to be tidied will be involved. You will be handling the items to determine which items Spark Joy for you.
What if I want to back but I am not located in Manila?
You may back but I cannot guarantee I can fulfill your reward for backing. Most decluttering happens at home. Although, you are welcome to back any amount to promote this project.
What will happen to my unwanted possessions that no longer Spark Joy?
After decluttering, you can opt to dispose of them yourself or I can connect you with a pick-up service for buyers of unwanted items.
What are consulting sessions like?
Before the session you can start by sending me photos of your home so I can review what you are dealing with. It’s a 5 hour session where you will decide what to keep and what to discard. I will also be following on your progress.
