Yan Lariba was born in Cagayan De Oro in 1994 and has since emerged as one of Asia's best Table Tennis athletes. She proudly represented the Philippines in the 2016 Olympics in Rio and was also the country's flag bearer for the Operning Ceremonies of those games. Yan is a multi-awareded UAAP MVP, winning the "Rookie of the Year" Award in season 74 and winning the Finals MVP award for season 75, after leading the Lady Archers to a title. She repeated this feat in season 77 and 78, establishing Yan as one of the most influential Filipina athletes of this millenium.

In May of 2017, Yan was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and has since undergone treatement for her condition. This site has been set up to help the Lariba family with some of these medical expenses. It is our hope and belief that Yan will make a full recovery and will inspire us in a way that is even greater than what she has done in her decorated athletic career thus far.
